We are very pleased to announce that Elizabeth English has joined Alterman Law Group, where she will continue her commercial real estate practice, focusing on office, commercial, and industrial leases and investment real estate transactions. Elizabeth is a graduate of the Texas McCombs School of Business and the University of Texas School of Law. She previously was an attorney with Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in Dallas, president of a local manufacturer, and an associate at a Portland real estate law firm. Welcome!
On December 2, 2021 the members of the University Club of Portland elected Dean Alterman to be the Club president for 2022, the Club’s 124th year since its founding in 1898. For more than three decades the Club has progressed toward building a diverse membership drawn from leaders in Portland’s business, artistic, cultural, and social life. A thirty-year member of the Club, Dean will also be the Board’s liaison to the Club’s committee on Diversity and Inclusion.
