On March 26 Dean Alterman gave a presentation to members of the Washington State Bar Association on how to read, evaluate, and object to exceptions in a title report. Buyers and their counsel routinely object to the exceptions for the seller’s financing. Some are more hesitant when evaluating exceptions for easements and oddball conditions.
